WHY ATTEND A GAMER BASEBALL EVENT?

1. GAMER BASEBALL CAMPS & CLINICS bring out the competitive nature in the participants due to the fact that they want to perform as well as or better than their peers. This aids in understanding and development due to the increase in focus and effort.

2. GAMER BASEBALL CAMPS & CLINICS improve understanding and performance through vicarious learning which means athletes can improve by observing the learning experiences (successes and failures) of their peers.

3. GAMER BASEBALL CAMPS & CLINICS aid in the development of skills through variability of practice.  Variability of practice is performing familiar skills and drills in a varied environment while hearing the information from a different source when utilizing varied teaching techniques.  In other words, getting instruction from different coaches can greatly improve understanding and increase the learning curve therefore improving performance.

4. GAMER BASEBALL CAMPS & CLINICS teach the often ignored mental game of baseball.  If the game is 90% mental and only 10% physical, why do most coaches focus 90% of their practice on the physical part of the game?  We end every event with a discussion on mental game topics such as the importance of confidence, a positive attitude, giving 100% effort, controlling your emotions, work ethic and more!
